What is the name of your state? florida
I am getting ready to get a divorce I filed some months ago and by law they required for me to put that I want child support so I did what they asked of me, when my husband recieved the paperwork his mother told him why should he pay for more child support which is doing for my stepdaughter and since he is taking care of his son she said he should not have to pay child support so she got him a lawyer and when his answer came his lawyer had on his answer that he wants custody of our son I know he is doing it because he does not want to pay child support so what should I do about this and what are his chances if he has a history of domestic violence, I did not want to be nasty but I did request the reports but they were not ready and the police headquarters was to call me when they are ready but they say they are not ready yet and I will be in court soon so what do you think.

Do you talk like this to your friends? Did you ever hear of "complete sentences" and "punctuation"? There's nothing in this world like a gigantic run-on sentence!

Geez, I can't stand it!

Please, use proper punctuation...It really does make it easier to read your posts, and you will get more responces.:)

Take it out, problem solved. You are not obligated to ask for child support if you don't want to. I think you confused the fact that child support should be ADDRESSED in the divorce papers. You could address it as "XXXX (you) is asking for child support in the amount of $0".

Tell your lawyer to have the police officers subpoenaed to court...the reports are inadmissible.
