What is the name of your state? NY

Hi,

I have this friend who was brought here in the US as a fiance, got married here with her American husband. They have been married for 2 1/2 years now but husband is divorcing her right now. The petition papers were withdrawn by the husband. She's very confused right now and don't know what to do. What advise can you give her?

There's not much she can do, since the specifics with the fiancee visa demands that you marry and file for AOS with the USC that sponsored the visa. If it's heading towards divorce before filing for AOS, she has lost her eligibility for AOS, GC and for remaining in the US.
