My friend is having issues with his wife who left him months ago. She's trying to collect child support even though the kid isn't his, and she refuses to get a job or pay for even half of the divorce costs. He does have a few disabilities, but I don't know if those are recognized or not. He also lives in IL, where she moved to IA. Is there any kind of help he could get with the costs, or any advice for him at all on how to go about starting all of this?
