I worked for five years so my pregnant wife could go to college and get her nursing degree. I dropped out of college to do this, however she graduated in December and moved out in January of 2000. I want to go back to school but I did not get a lawyer because she is pretty fair a level headed, she is the smart one. Now she moved to Colorado from Lincoln ne. and I want to go back to school to make more money jobwise, I cant because of what I have to pay. I can get a degree at Milford college in one year but I have half of her school loan and half of her charge card and child support which the child support is a lot for what I make, she makes twice what I do. Is there anyway to put these bills on hold untill I get my education. For five years I worked so she could stay in School and now I am so in debt I cant get out. I just want a better education for a higher paying job. I enlisted for another term in the army guards and gave her what she needed for our divorce. I could not afford a lawyer for myself but I paid for hers, I didnot what a fighting battle in front of our son and we did part on good terms, I just did not know what all was coming my way.
