Does the "quickie "divorce still exist in NV?I read once that you need to be a resident for 6months to get the quick divorce.I will be moving in NV the end of the month and due to my husband company suffering financialy I dont want to get caught up in his mess.I have suffered financially once before and I dont want to go down that route again.Could a legal separation save me from that?

My response:

You better see a California attorney. You've got some big-time Community Property issues to discuss and straighten out. Legal separation won't help you because of the Community Property laws. There's a hell of a lot more than your apartment lease to worry about.

See an attorney A.S.A.P.
