August 2000 my husband said that he was moving back to Missouri. Our marriage had'nt been good for a few years. He said I could come or stay.He said he didn't care about our life here or the house. That I could keep it or lose it... The end of Sept.2000 he left.I didn't have a job nor did I have a working/legal vehicle. He closed out his retirement which I had to sign for him to do so and left me with $1800.00..Our bills that were accumalated were $3000.00.... Now he is filing for divorce in Missouri and the lawyer wants me to sign paper to divide our property in Missouri court. If I do not he has a cousin in Arizona that will take me to court..I will need quite some time for any kind of moving and am behind on the payments for I recently got a job and am trying to make ends meet just with the utilties and maintance on the house. My husband and his parents have money for lawyers and such and they know that I nor my parents don't have money for a lawyer.Where do I stand and who can help me?
