Is TX a "no-fault" state? What does it mean that TX is a "community-property" state? Spouse and I have been married less than 3 years, no kids, jointly bought 1 house and 1 car, and have maybe 2 joint credit cards and 1 joint checking account. I still maintain a seperate checking account as well. We are both employed making equal income.
