my brother is in jail for a domestic violence charge against his wife. he was served with divorce papers while there and i believe he has a certain number of days to answer the papers. how does he do this ? in the divorce papers under attorney, the words "pro se, pro se" are entered. what does that mean? we live in ohio.

Pro Se

Pro se means she is doing it on her own. No lawyer. She may have legal advice but is not paying for it. No attorney fees. It's better to do it that way if you can and you both can come to an aggreement, of course.
I am doing it pro se too.
