for the state of new jersey-my only income is social security and a small government check, which are direct deposited into my checking account. When my wife files for divorce will my account be frozen? Should I stop the direct deposits? the account is in my name only.

I would stop the direct deposit and have Social Security checks sent to your address or a P O Box. Then later I would resume direct deposit.
