Florida, I married in 93 & had a prenup stating that prop. before marriage is protected & no alimony if marriage lasts less than 10 yrs. - 3 yrs ago I became disabled, I put my husband on the deed of a home I owned before the marriage. The home owed 48k and he refinanced to the point that when it just sold for 112K all I had left was 14K. He bought a home in another country with the money, we are separating due to spousal abuse are divorcing. Since, the pre-nup was modified due to his name being on a home I owned before marriage, will I be able to modify the no alimony clause. He owns 10 homes, why did it have to be my home that was refinanced? He has also quit claimed all of his properties to his brother. All on the same day. What can I do? These properties were purchased during the marriage.
