I have been married since feb 89,and my wife says that she is going to move out. She has always taken care of the bills. Since the first of the year I have taken over that responcibility,as it turns out she has only depoisted two of her paychecks sine 11-6-00. She has transfered $ from our savings account to cover the bills, and hide the fact that she was keeping her paychecks. She also has started her own banking account. Also I singed a loan so that her daughter could buy a car, which her daughter is suppose to make the payments to me, my wife has kept those payments since november, also without my knowledge. If I file for divorce, what are my rights in this matter? We both live in the state of Iowa, and we were married in Nebraska.
Does she have any rights to my 401k?
Please help!

What you need to do is to retain a Family Law Attorney and file for legal seperation. This will 'freeze' everything. It sounds like she is going to screw you so the quicker you get an attorney, the better!
