I live in texas.Iam the court appointed guardian for my mother. she was abused by my stepfather and he also had taken medications away from her.I want to know if I can file for divorce for her. She has had a stroke and is able to talk or write.

Yes you can because you are her legal gaurdian you can do it for her....But just to make sure draw up Power of Attorney papers and have them noterized but a public notary and long as you got identification showing that the person giving the power of attorney is that person all the person give the power of attorney has to do is be there or some will come to you
