common law married in the state of South Carolina.
moved to Florida.
filed for divorce.
he claimed in the court we were not married.
Florida court allowed me to drop the divorce because he said we were not married.
I am now back in South Carolina and he is now insisting that we are married and that I need to file for a divorce.
What should I do?
Can I now remarry?

My response:

If you are not living with him, then order a copy of the court transcript, or the papers he filed denying the marriage, and highlight that portion where he says "we were not married", then make a paper airplane out of it, and fly it in his face ! Then, tell him to "bite rocks".
