Divorce

i live in ny. my husband and i have not seen nor talked to each other in six years. i have no idea where he is. i do know that he has remarried . am i divorced still married or what? i have received no papers of divorce or nothing of that nature and if i'm not legally divorced,
how do i go about gettting this done?

There should be some Free legal service in your neighborhood which can direct you what to do.
To get the papers, you just go to your courthouse and ask for them. but if you don't know where he is, serving him can be tricky and that's where the legal service comes in. Ask your local social services where you can go to find such a place.
