i live in california. have been married 14 month. it just is not working out. we have a pre-nuptial agreement that what is his is his, and mine is mine. but he bought a car for me and both of our names are on the tittle the same for a home we purchased with both names joint on the deed. he paid for the car cash and paid the down payment on the home. do i still have half interest in both since both items are in both of our names.

My response:

I have no idea. Please scan your prenuptual agreement into your computer for review. Then, send $500.00 care of this Board for my fee (he said, tongue-in-cheek).

Or, you can take you Pre-Nup to an attorney for review to see how that agreement affects your property rights.

Thanks for writing.
