I was divorced almost 2 years ago with the X to pay me in settlement for the house we owned. He fled to Belize do to other criminal charges but we have court papers saying he owes me so much money on the house. Now he does have an annuity with his union and we are trying to attach that. What do you think my chances are. Any other suggestions? We live or I should say I live and the house is located in the state of Missouri.

My response:

I think your husband wrote to us about a month ago. Something about an unruly, and uncontrollable, daughter. He was at his wits end and didn't know what to do with her, and she was getting into trouble with the law.

If I'm right, he took her to Belize with a one-way ticket to drop her off, leaving her in a hotel room with $200.00. He wanted to "get rid of the problem."

He should be arriving back in Missouri very shortly.

As far as his annuity goes, it may take some "doing", but you should be able to have that account attached and paid directly to you.

Good luck.

Sorry but the X that fled to Belize from Missouri was not my X for we had no children. He fled to Belize because he was going to have to serve jail time for DWI's ( and many of them ) This seems to be the thing to do if you are in trouble in St.Charles County,Missouri for many of my X's have fled there. This house we jointly own will cost me a lot of money and time to gain sole ownership so I just want the money out of it and let him deal with it. He has a power of attorney. Hope to get more feedback!!!

I need to correct the last message on X in Belize. I wrote all my X's fled to Belize. I only have one X. The statement should have been many of my X's freinds have fled to Belize do to DWI's.
