Do I have a case against Pardee/Countrywide?

What is the name of your state My wife and I bought a home in Sept 2008 from Pardee Homes. We were approved through the Pardee home lender, but the appraisal came in low. Our Pardee mortgage agent and sales team told us that the particular appraiser always apraises low. They then told us
it would be ok and submitted our loan application to Countrywide. The second appraisal came back for the price of the house and the loan went through. I am certain countywide's
appraiser inflated the price to get the price they wanted.

Do I have a case against Pardee and Countrywide?

In this case you seem to have a valid appraisal that you disregarded.
