I have been having severe problems with an eBay user, for months. They bid on my items, refused to pay, and have made my life a living hell ever since I left them negative feedback.

She has gone out of their way to email bidders of my auctions, pushing them away from bidding/paying for items they win. She has signed my email up for SPAM email, which has been average 800 emails a day. She has contacted her friends and anyone else she could find, to encourage people to leave me negative feedback based on lies and slander.

3 months after she stopped the total eBay assualt, but the SPAM email continues, she sent me this email, with more threats and confessions of her misdoings.

The email:

"Question from eBay MemberHellllllllllllllo Chrisy Pooh,

I see you are making yet more internet friends on Ebay? Same ole song and dance, you don't delivery product and then blame the buyer and leave them negatives, when though you are the bad guy.

Since several of us have this "We hate Chris" watch dog fan club going on, it can now be noted that you are full of ****. Everybody was given empty threats by you, but yet there are No Slander or Defamation Lawsuits (Not deformation, as a Perry Mason such as yourself refers to it) , no law enforcement family members knocking on our doors, and my personal favorite, no "Feedback extortion" cases. What's the Matter? Just too busy not delivering product to follow up? God, you make us al laugh.....And we are laughing at you Chrissy Pooh..................But not too worry.....It's your lucky day.

I'm sure you are getting tired of those "Bonus Emails" everyday, so as a ONE TIME courtesy to you. They have stopped as of this evening. However, I am now giving you a 2nd negative feedback to match the one you gave me. As I told you before, you would get this feedback at a later date and now is the time to go with the other 2 you just got from ebayers who have joined our fan club.

Now HERE IS THE DEAL. If you reply to this feedback in ANY WAY, OR if you EVER LEAVE OR REPLY TO a negative feedback AT ANY TIME to ANY PERSON who has a delivery issue with you, THE EMAILS WILL RETURN....Except they will be tripled and they will NEVER Stop. So this is your ONE AND ONLY opportunity to stop them......I'd recommend you take advantage of this very generous offer............But if you decide you enjoy trying to sort out your important emails everyday and continue to be a jerk, as most of us are betting you will, Just sit back and enjoy the Spam. Smart people would take this deal....You'll probably blow it.

..........Remember, several eyes are watching you at all times on Ebay, So watch your feedback mouth as one mistake starts up your "Bonus Email" again.....You bad little boy!

Oh........Almost forgot, anything less than a humble response to this email will

Now mind you, the transaction on Ebay is at least three months old, and long since forgotten on my end. However, she just won't stop?

I have contacted eBay many times, and all they did was issue the standard feedback extortion and transaction intereference emails, without suspending her, or removing her from the site. This has allowed her to continue her reign of terror, when she's not even a regular bidder/seller, she's just here to cause havoc.

What should I do about this? She's hurt my business very much so, and ruined my feedback, between her and her friends, or fake accounts bidding and leaving negative feedback.

Is this cause for legal action, or I am helpless? I'm very desperate for some advice here, and plan on trying to consult a lawyer this week, to see if she can be prosecuted under any means of the law, since I have all of our correspondance, and this email tonight, admits her wrongdoings.

ditto at the veryu least change your ebay name. and create another email addy just for that ebay name. dont give her the satisfaction of bringing you down. be smart on this one ebay is a joke to deal with in these case's. as long as they get there money they dont care.

go back to the e-mails and find the originating server from which the e-mails were sent. Do a 'whois' lookup and find the owner then send them an e-mail outlining your situation and asking for their procedures under the Can Spam Act of how to remove your name from their server.
