What is the name of your state? Virginia
I live in virginia and I am a maid. I was recently in a car accident where I was rear ended by a coworker on the way to a house. We are required to use our own cars to the houses we clean. The coworker that struck me had a 12/05 inspection and this happened on 06/22/06. She said her brakes went out, which was then confirmed with the cops. She has said repeatedly at work to many people that she had brake problems and failed inspections. I am getting my car paid through her insurance and I am getting my medical bills paid by workers comp. My question is can I sue the company I work for for negligence since they knew she had break problems and her inspection kept failing, but continued letting her drive at work? Also, if I can sue them what type of lawyer would I need to find for my case?
