What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA
i'm not sure which type of law attorney to approach. i want to know if i have a case. in college i stupidly help a friend cosign a student loan. now that we have graduated she have not made payments on the loan and the creditor have been harrasing me to pay. this have been on going for 2 years. what can i do? is there a case against this individual? she did this to one other person. a total of almost 60k please let me know if i have a case

How much money are YOU on the hook for? That would be your lawsuit. I suspect this is beyond a small-claims case.
