I posted a message before regarding my builder use two different kinds of bricks to build the outside wall of my house. Basically, appoximately half of the total area of the wall is a different color from the rest.
The builder offered to stain the brick, which is a method that use some sort of chemical to change the color of the bricks to make them all look alike. However, I am quite skeptical about such method, and I would prefer if the builder take down the entire wall and just simply rebuild it with the right color of bricks. However, do I have any say in what kind of method the builder could apply to fix the problem?
P.S. I haven't closed the house yet, but the closing day is in two weeks, and due to the current temperature, the builder won't be able to fix the brick until next April when the temperature is warmer.
