My situation: I graduated from a California private school in 1988. I am now going back to school and need a copy of my transcripts. I just found out that my parents have an outstanding balance owed to the school. The problem is, both of my parents are now deceased; father died in '92 & mother died in '00.
My question: Am I responsible for a debt from my parents because it was for my tuition? Is there anything I can do? Please help.
