What is the name of your state? CA
Ok, I am the one that filed the "disclosure document" with the Patent office. I am currently working on a toy line. I am sending it out to different licensing/marketing places to see if they want to market it. (I have not sent to anyone without getting a non-disclosure signed.) Do I need to start a patent pending process? Is the need immediate? I am scared to wait, but don't want to blow money either. Help!

You need to consult with an attorney asap. The USPTO allows you to file for a patent up to 1 year after an "offer for sale" has been made. Most foreign countries do not allow the 1-year grace period, and prohibit you from obtaining a patent (absolute novelty). You need to speak with an attorney who can speak with you in detail about what activities you have done and whether they constitute a "sale."
