Do I need an injury lawyer too?

So in the accident (see last post) I hurt my neck, shoulders and elbow. ( I broke the steering wheel with my hands! Only had a lap belt in the car. ) 3 months later I feel fine except for my elbow. I have a "non displacement fracture." I guess it's a crack. It smarts pretty good and limits my activity to an extent. I have 2 kids under 2.5 years at home and have trouble changing them, it hurts to some easy tasks like pushing down on a stapler or working with a spade in the garden. The doctor says it's probably going to take time. Very similar to tennis elbow. The other guys insurance wants to settle. I'm not that bad off, but do have some pain still. (I've been avoiding the motions theat aggrivate it.) Should I settle with them? Do I ned a lawyer? I've not been injured before. Is this claim worth much? Thanks, Steve in California
