What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I recently sold a hobby website of mine and the buyer sent me an asset purchase agreement contract. My question is: Do I need to get this notarized? If it makes any differenec, the buyer is based in Canada and I am in the US.

Thanks for any advice.
