Some people are quit capable of making their own estate documents. Those persons that are do not ask such questions. Therefore, see an estate attorney to ensure that the documents that are required are done properly. A power of attorney is not the only document that is needed.

**A: and those people that are quit capable should quit doing so and hire an attorney.

You know the lady I was asking for is not familiar with the ways of the law people who come here to ask questions do not want to hear your better than other snippy remarks. Having a law degree or thinking you have one does not make you superior. Some of us have medical degrees and are not familiar with the workings of the law.

Ah but those in the helping professions ae required to study the laws associated with their profession and should be familiar with some aspects of your question at least enough to refer. Many hospitals have forms for living wills and other forms may be aquired very easily. The MS association may have very knowlegable persons to assist or through the local independent living center.
