I live in NH and want to file for divorce (separated for 18 mos.) We have nothing together, because I bet the farm and lost (thousands of $ for a business that failed.) I have to file for bankruptcy myself...he has already filed.....and I don't have lots of money. How hard or easy is it to file myself? I see that I can download forms that I will need. Any advice out there?
Thank You
Paula

It may be wiser to complete the bankruptcy first, prior to filing for divorce. It will make the property settlement issues less complicated. I have also known of cases where judges put divorces on hold until bankruptcies were completed.
