Waiver?
Guest
Hi. I have a martial arts school and where I teach I cannot make AAU memberships required. This means my school, myself, and my students will not be covered by AAU's insurance (unless everyone is a member) during training.
Although this class will be light or no contact... if someone twists their foot, hyper extends a joint, etc -- can I be held liable?
I wanted to create a waiver as sort of a release form. Do these have any merit? Does anyone have experience with this issue? Ever have to defend one?
I have written one, but will spare the space here. I'd love someone to look it over, and if you're willing, please leave me a posting.
Thanks!
