Do you think I should get a lawyer

Hi, I was in a accident friday, my girlfriend was told by the emergency room that she had a bad neck strain....no ct scans or x-rays done..... The adjuster came out from the company of the guy that hit me, and said other then fixin the damage to my car, and a rental car that she offered us $700 for my girlfriends injury plus medical costs. Do you think I should get a lawyer with this. Thank you

Perhaps proper testing, x-ray or scans, is in order to even determine there is any injury there settling anything. Then consult a Lawyer if testing shows you've a case.

You need to see first if you have much of a case. One ER visit with no testing is not a whole lot. Have her follow up with her PCP if she is still hurting and see what is going on. Always remember that attorneys take 33% or more of any settlement the insurance company pays you. So if they don't increase their offer by much are you willing to take the chance?
