I just went to a dermotologist in New Jersey because they had an ad in the yellow pages that stated that they give free consultations for new patients.. I went and they tried to charge me $135 for 2 mins of the doctors time, he was rude and didn't do the procedure I was there to consult him about... I showed the receptionist the ad and it clearly states "FREE CONSULTATION FOR NEW PATIENTS" and she said she understood that it was misleading and that they have a new policy now and that she will leave a message for the office manager to call me mean while I didn't pay the bill . Well I just got a bill in the mail and so I called the office manager and told her about the ad and she said that that was last years policy and a misprint then I told her that I wasn't paying the bill and she told me she is going to send me to collections and hung up on me! .. Well the yellow pages is dated May 2000- April 2001.. I went to the doctor March 14 2001. IS THIS FALSE ADVERTISMENT? I have the ad a proof... What do I do? Thanks [email protected]
