What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas,

Hi I am trying to help my cousin get his life back together. He was convicted at 17 of a drug charge (see below). Can you please tell me if he qualifies for an expungement or sealed record since he was only 17 at the time? Hes 25 now and cant find a job, so were tying to help hiim so he doesnt go down the wrong path - again.

Thanks, any help appreciated.

17 years old is an adult in Texas for criminal purposes and is no different than being 71. He was finally convicted according to the information you posted. A conviction for anything above a Class C misdemeanor can never be expunged and it could only be "sealed" if he received and completed probation. He was sentenced to 120 days it seems so this is not a probation case. Unfortunately for your cousin no his case does not qualify for expunction, sealing (called a petition for non-disclosure) or anything else. The only way to change things now would be a pardon from the Governor or President.
