What is the name of your state? Mississippi

My ex-wife was awarded rehabilitative alimony. She remarried two months before it was scheduled to terminate. I spoke to a lawyer and he claims she can't receive rehabilitative alimony if she remarries and that I should take her to court to have those two months refunded. I wanted to verify this myself before paying a bunch of legal fees for something that might not happen.

Is there such a law on record stating that rehabilitative alimony stops on remarriage in Mississippi? I can't find anything online to that effect.

Normally the divorce agreement would have to state specifically that alimony was to end upon remarriage....particularly when its rehabilitative alimony.

Unless you were paying some astronomically high amount of alimony, your legal fees might easily end up being more than you would collect back from her even if you did win.
