What is the name of your state?Michigan
I am currently enlisting into the Michigan National Guard Reserve. I was wondering about Title 32 I beleive it is called. I want to go active and I heard that this is a possibility to be stationed within the state I live in and be on active duty. Any help would be appreciated. THanK You, JIM

AGR program

You seem to be asking about the AGR (Active Guard Force) program. Application procedures might vary, but will include filling out a NGB Form 34-1.

The underlying regulation, AR 135-18, can be found at
http://www.army.mil/usapa/epubs/pdf/r135_18.pdf

IIRC, this is a program that allows one to go on active duty to fill specific specialist/support slots. States advertise the specific slots they need filled and people apply for them. Be aware, however, that there may be a "needs of the nation" clause that allows worldwide deployment (something that matters these days).
