What is the name of your state? California, I Have a severe problem and I don't know exactly what to do. Here is the situation that is going on I live with My fiancee and my toddler and her mother in her brothers condo and her mother pays the home owner assciation fee and when they get mad they say I can just get out as they can do that here and everything of mine including my things in storage which is in with there stuff also they get to keep when they have a bad day or get pissed off. Her mother runs the show as its what she says goes thats it. They blame it on her blood sugar as it swings one way wait a while then the other and she worries about everything these two have had each other since her father died when my fiancee was 4. So what are my rights under the law. I have offered to pay time to time and they don't want it they say oh no keep your money. And my fiancee think she knows it all on somethings no to bad mouth her because she was an intern in a law office years ago. And when they get mad they say they will take me to court and then I will have to pay back rent ? So can anyone advise me as to whats what in California in this perticular situation. If anyone needs more info to give me correct info I would be glad to go into more detail.

Ay yi Yi... That was hard to read! But simply put you are technically (my word for the day I guess) you would be considered month to month. Therefore if they want you to leave they would have to give you a 30-day written notice.
