What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio I was court ordered to provide health care for my child. What about deductables for office visits and medication. Am I responsible for this as well or is this shared with the custodial parent? Thanks

Generally, there is an amount specified for child support, a percentage assigned for uncovered medical costs. What is that percentage?

Thanks Ginny, but like I said there is no language that is more specific than I stated in my last post.

If the order does not include specific language stating that such costs shall be shared or that either party shall be entitled to reimbursement, the party who incurs an out-of-pocket medical expense (including copays) for the child should expect to be 100% responsible for that expense.
