Does health insurance run til months end when laid off

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

When laid off, does your health isnurance last thru the end of the current month? When a health insurance policy is administered isnt the employee's portion of the monthly fee paid for in advance? ie...the $60 taken out this pay period is actually covering the next pay period's insurance?

Whether or not your health insurance ends on your last day of employment or runs to the end of the month depends entirely on the terms of the insurance policy. The law does not say either way.

It is entirely up to the employer whether the premiums deducted by the employer pay forwards or backwards. Once again, that is not determined by law.
