What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

Hubby & I have been married 14 months and still have both of our own Townhomes. His needs quite a bit of work before we can put it up for sale and he's been procrastinating big time. This has also caused many arguments and tension as he cannot help pay the bills at our place (he and his daughter moved in w/ me) until he sells his place. I also pay his medical ins. thru my work (he's self-employed) which he cannot reimburse me for at this point ($400/mth)

I had my homeowners insurance bill come lately and I wanted to update it to increase liability/replacement etc., and the ins. company asked about hubby's place/address etc. I JUST got a call asking if he had homeowner's insurance on his place because it's not showing as being covered (at all!). A little background is that I didn't know about his financial state until 2 mths after we were married. He was in foreclosure and I took out a loan to get him out (I only make 40k so this IS a big deal to me) as he didn't qualify. He has horrible (under 500) FICA score due to many things so I don't know if this is an oversight or an intentional cost cutting issue on his part.

What, if any, responsibility do "I" have if something happens to his house? He had it for 14 years before me and it's in his name only. MY townhouse is only in my name only. We only have 1 joint ckg acct., that has $1.36 in it, but nothing else is joint.
