What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
From Illinois
My wife owns a new vehicle that has had nothing but issues. The vehicle is 2 years old and still under the manufaturers warranty. We researched the vehicle online and found that there are quite a few people experiencing the same types of issues that we are having. The issues that we are having are big safety concerns for me regarding my wife and daughter. We have brought it into the dealer with no resolution because the dealer says that it cannot duplicate the issues and when they do, the codes coming back from the computer are nonsense codes and so there are no fixes that they can perform. The problems that we are having are related to the airbags and the electronics of the car and the fact that sometimes it just doesn't start. Other issues that we found during our research that seem to also tie into the computer of the car is complete system shutdown while driving (no brakes, steering, gas), failure for airbags to deploy, failure for car to sense when someone is in the passenger seat to enable the pasenger side airbag. I feel that I have some legitimate safety concerns that I'm afaird that I won't be able to pursue based on Illinois state law. Can you advise me on what we need to do to get this resolved?
Thanks
