ny bx county we were evicted and the marshall took possesion of apt... a week later a moving truck came to move things from apt.. The landlord felt it would cost to much to move... he made up some story about how they would steal our thing. Not knowing, we were in the apt when the movers came... And hard them quote a price of $3000.00. so he left it up to us to move... he gave us 2 weeks to move our stuff no apt.. things not packed .. no moving money what are our rights... also he never secured our apt because we came through the fireescape windoew several times ....

Are you kidding? First of all, after being evicted what makes you think the landlord is responsible for moving your belongings? They are your responsibility not his. Why should the landlord pay $3,000 because he had the misfortune to have a tenant he had to evict? Seriously, is this stuff even worth $3,000? Also, you are coming into an apartment you were evicted from through the fire escape. At the very least I would say you were trespassing, which is against the law. What are your rights? You have got to be joking!

No apartment, move your things into storage. Here's a novel idea, to save money move your things yourself. I have done this myself many times. Then stay in a shelter until you can find an apartment.

Are you Fu**ing NUTS........

YOU want the landlord to pay you for being evicted...

The Landlord HAVE could THROWN your stuff in the street....after the marshal came.... BUT HE DIDNT !!!!!!!!

YOU HAVE NO LEGAL RIGHT TO BE IN THAT APARTMENT...but the landlord is being kind to give you 2 weeks.

The landlord DID YOU A FAVOR by not paying the movers....

He could have paid to put your stuff in storage, YOU would have had to pay the $3000 PLUS storage costs to get your stuff back.....AND then in 90 days IF YOU DID NOT pay for your stuff....HE could have sold it to the highest bidder.

And if he got more the $3000 for it he could have kept the money....

You are the dumbest person yet to post on this board!
