My wife started her own business back in January. Part of her business included lazer hair removal. She purchased a used lazer hair removal machine in Dec for $54,000. It was suppose to be in excellent condition. When it arrived at our house, I was out of town and my wife told the driver of the truck she could not open the crate. He refused to open it as well. About two weeks after the delivery, I opened the crate and noticed the machine was damaged. I contacted the person we bought it from and he assured me it was only cosmetic damage. He also stated since the crate was not opened on delivery that we could not turn in a claim or return it. He sent someone out to check and fix the machine, but my wife has had problems with it ever since. It now has been six months. Do you know if we have any recourse.
