What is the name of your state? missourri is where we are.
my dog was attacked buy 2dogs from same owner what is my best way of dealing with this. these same dogs are continualy getting lose and look for other dogs to attack. they have attacked other dogs in neighborhood repeatedly and the owner has been told many times buy many people in neighborhood to keep her dogs on her property.
im very upset that her dogs almost killed our little dog. but im more concerned whos kid is going to get attacked. these dogs are even starting to growl and get agressive with people . the dogs doing this are a rottweller and germanshepard.im considering small claims but not really sure this will drive point home to the owner of the 2 attackers.any advise would be greatly appreciated.:confused:What is the name of your state?

we are trying to make sure we are doing everything buy the book we have contacted the police and they are doing a investigation on the attack. but we are wanting to know outside of any criminal charges. what else could or should we be doing. so you believe we need to contact animal control also?

I would probably have *started* with animal control...definitely give them a call.

That's just the most sensible answer. If the dogs have repeatedly harmed others (dogs or people), then animal control would have been the first place.

I'm not sure that they haven't, but when OP states that these dogs have done this several times before, I can't imagine that no one has done anything besides consider a lawsuit?!?!?!?!?!
