What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Az
I was bitten by a dog about 5 months ago. The dog bit off half of my top lip. The homeowners insurance says they will only pay for my medical exspenses. the dog does not belong to the homeowner and the homeowner does not reside in the house. However he allows the dog owners to stay there free of charge. Just wondering why the insurance co is doing this. I meet with my lawyer tomorrow. Just trying to understand the insurance co's thinking and reasoning. Any input is greatly appreciated

Sue the owner and the dog owner. The owner may not be liable if it is a rental, but let a judge decide. If there is any equity in the home, you may be able to get a lean on it.
