I live in Ohio and was wondering if anyone could tell me the laws pertaining to dog bites on your property. we have a retarded gentleman who keeps riding his bike on my property without permission then proceeds to tease my dog, who is not on a leash when we are outside with him, and my dog doesn't like him. the gentleman has teased him so much that my dog is likely to bite him even if we are standing next to him. As long as we have the dog contained(i.e. sitting next to us) and the man comes up in our driveway, are we still responsible if the dog bites him? Would a no trepassing sign keep us from being liable? we already have a beware of dog sign up. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
