Arizona.

I got in a fight with my dad when I am still 17. The probation officer I got said that they were gonna wait till I was 18 to charge me. My dad doesnt want to press charges because he started the fight and we didnt even really fight. (Neighboors called the cops and cops entered because they deemed someone was going to get hurt.) I was arrested on the charge of domestic violence and was taken to the local juvinile hall and was released that night to my parents.

I am moving to Florida on October 1st or so. When I have my court case do I bring this up. In what way should I bring this up? I know I can't escape my charges by merely moving, and that are not my intentions. I just want to be able to tell the judge that I am moving and I want something to be done that will allow me to transfer my charges. Can the courts make it illegeal for me to move? I need to move there ASAP. I really hope they can't. Any help appreciated!

The courts can prohibit you from moving -- making it illegal for you to move. In DV cases, the victim doesn't have to press charges -- the state can and will.

another question. My dad is doing everything he can to make them drop the charges. Is it impossible to drop the charges?

It is not up to your dad to get the charges dropped. It is up to the prosecutor. Impossible? No. It is improbable as DV is taken seriously.
You can ask to move HOWEVER if they say no and you do it anyway, there will be a warrant issued for your arrest and you will end up in jail.

This I do know. If they say no moving then I won't. But my reasons for moving are to get away from my parents. Which would prevent further DV cases ever happening since it will be a 3,000 mile move. :p
