unemployed nurse

Icalled thepolice5 yrs.ago on husband for assaulting me. We were both arrested & charged with battery. We were offered pretrial intervention and charges would be dropped. This was done.I am a nurse who was refused a job because of this on my background check.(I never pled guilty).I was told it was because of "regardless of adjudication" Does that apply to pretrial intervention? I have applied to have charges expunged and state attorney signed it in agreement. Is the arrest going to show up anyway? I live in Florida. The charge was a misdemeaner.
