What is the name of your state?arkansas
I'm divorced and have a 6 yr old son.for the past 8 month's I've been in court for visitation. The ex has let me see him 6 times in 8 months.Whenever it's my weekend she doe's something to keep me from seeing him.One weekend she called the police and said I tried to kidnap him, which was not true at all.Last weekend she had me falsely arrested and thrown in jail because she said I wasn't suppose to be near his school.I went and had lunch with him. That was a lie and the DA threw that out of court.Again this is my weekend and she didn't show up at the police station with him.I'm suppose to get him every tue afternoon for a few hours and that hasn't happened yet.It seems whenever we go to court the judge is on her side.I am so fed up with all this.I'm an excellent father and always have been. The ex won't talk to me at all about our son so I have to deal with her father. We don't get along at all. When I called him last night to find out why no one droped my son off he thought it was a big joke. So,what do I do?

Have you documented (i.e. via a police report) every time you've gone to the swap point and she hasn't shown? Have you filed against her for contempt?

I've gone to court on this a couple of times and for some reason the judge never does anything to her.She has allowed me to see my son 5 times in the last 8 months. My son and I had an excellent father son relationship before the divorce and now she's giving me no chance at all for a relationship.I know she wants to hurt me but this is not doing my son any good. It's no wonder some fathers go crazy.

Have you documented (i.e. via a police report) every time you've gone to the swap point and she hasn't shown? In other words - have you been able to PROVE that she's denying visitation?

She always admits in court that she won't let me see him.Proving that is not a problem.Seeing my son is.She had me falsely arrested 2 weeks ago because it was my weekend. The DA is pursueing felony charges against her for that.It seems like there is no stopping her.

Make sure that every time you try to pick him up, you have a copy of the court order. Consider calling the cops ahead of time and ask if you can get an escort. Document each and every time she denies you visitation and file contempt each and every time. It does take time, but eventually, she'll be slapped for it.

I've tried to get the police to escort me.They say they can't because it's a civil matter.I hope the judge does something soon because I'm almost at the end of my rope. Thanks for your advise.

Ask the judge if he will order that the police are to enforce the visitation order. THEN they can intervene.

Thanks,I will definently do that.It sucks that so many parents have to go thru this. They just don't think what it does to the kids.
