Iam in NJ I mad one of the biggest mistakes in my life. I was engaged to a man who filed bankruptcy. He filed for it after his divorce was completed. During the divorce I lent him money for the divorce and the custody fight. he promised to repay marriage or not. He took my life savings and credit debt. He promised marriage during the time of the bankruptcy. I had a bad feeling during the time and wanted to fight being included witht the bankruptcy but he promised marriage so the debt would be paid from the communial pot He agreed to repay the debt marriage or not. He wrote a letter after the the bakruptcy reaffirming to pay the debt to me. He broke the engagement. I recently tried to get it reopend in the bankruptcy court , they denied it after giving oral argument on the grounds I did not fight it at the time of origanial notice. Don't let anyone every file bankrupt and not fight it dont be inlcuded in it or this could happen to you now I get to repay the debt of his, to the bank. DOn't lend anyone Money to RICHARD R HUGHES Paterson NJ

My response:

Okay, you were "taken for a ride." You weren't the first woman to be taken, and you certainly won't be the last. However, be careful when naming names, young lady. You really don't want to be a defendant in a defamation lawsuit, do you?
