What is the name of your state? Tennessee
Our company recently changed one of many company policies.....
We are paid PTO (paid time off) accruing at 1.54 hours per work week..for only 10 days per year....no sick days or vacation days.....We are requested to notify 10 days in advance of a requested day off...The Managers have the yeah or ney to grant these requests...We also have a "no fault" point system......Now, because of the policy change, if we miss a day, unscheduled, doctors note or not, we receive a point plus are required to take a PTO day for that missed day.....although the company won't let you use your PTO when you might need it, it is now forced upon us to use it. Any recourse with company policies? And yes, I know that Tennessee is not a "right to work" state.
