Driver sentenced to wear "idiot" sign for driving on sidewalk to pass school bus

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ohio

Justice served, with a side of shaming.

The idiot had repeatedly driven on this sidewalk -- outside a daycare -- before being caught.

What a winner this one was. She should have been suspended for longer than 30 days, but that's just me.

The article mentions court costs, but I wonder if any additional fines were imposed. I would have written her two and I'd be curious to know if she got one or two.

Now that I'm thinking about it, I would consider locking her up for reckless endangerment or equivalent.

"Judge Pinkey Carr was unhappy that Hardin, 32, was smoking and texting during Tuesday's punishment and planned to personally supervise the defendant on Wednesday. But Carr later said sent word that she changed her mind."

Perhaps Judge Carr was imagining her own parents being forced to hold a sign proclaiming, "Only very cruel persons would name their child 'Pinkey Carr'?" ;)
