What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Pennsylvania.

I recently revoked my consent for my child's drivers permit. She was not obeying the laws and not listening to instruction as well as rebelling in other aspects. She went to live with her father. She is now trying to sue me. Is that possible? I could not be responsible and continue consent if she doesn't live with me. First, can she sue me? and isn't there any other way for her to get her license without my consent, and responsibility since she doesn't live with any longer? Can I be forced to give my consent back? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

What court did she file this law suit in?

I am not quite sure. I just know she filed, and I wasn't sure what my rights were and if it was actually possible for her to sue me?

Your daughter is in for one rude awakening.

No court in these United States is going to force you to give consent to drive to a self-absorbed, arrogant child, who wants her way because she wants her way. Tell her your answer is still NO and to bring it on. Let her know that you will also be letting whatever judge she gets in front of know all reasons why you don't think she is ready to get behind the wheel.

Driving is a privilege in this country and if YOU don't want to put yourself on the line then she can just wait until she's old enough to do it all herself.
